Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SignalDesk ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

SignalDesk is a product intelligence platform that helps product teams analyze support tickets, generate product requirements documents (PRDs), and create actionable development tickets. The Service uses artificial intelligence to process and analyze data you upload.

User Accounts

To use SignalDesk, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Use the Service to compete directly with SignalDesk
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws

Data and Content

Your Data

You retain all rights to data you upload to SignalDesk. By uploading data, you grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service.

Generated Content

Content generated by SignalDesk (themes, PRDs, tickets) is owned by you. You may use, modify, and distribute this content as you see fit.

Data Recommendations

We strongly recommend anonymizing personally identifiable information (PII) before uploading support tickets. SignalDesk is designed to work with aggregated patterns, not individual customer data.

Third-Party Services

SignalDesk integrates with third-party services including:

  • OpenAI: For AI-powered analysis and generation
  • Linear: For ticket export (optional integration)

Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service.

Billing and Payments

Design Partner cohort members receive preferred pricing as agreed during onboarding. Standard pricing will be published prior to general availability.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable notice
  • Modify or discontinue features with notice
  • Suspend access for violation of these Terms

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SignalDesk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by SignalDesk. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will cease immediately
  • You may request export of your data within 30 days
  • We will delete your data according to our Privacy Policy

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
